The day is finally here. Jeeter infused pre rolls have officially hit the Illinois market. I got a sample of their Strawberry Sour Diesel Mini Jeeter at the launch event hosted by Stash Orland Hills and figured it was only right to spark one up for a review.
Jeeter is a well known brand in the cannabis industry for its triple infused joints loaded with flavor from botanically derived terpenes. Personally, that is not usually what I look for in cannabis. I want the real flavor and effects of the strain itself, not an added fruity profile. While botanical terpenes and cannabis derived terpenes are chemically identical at the molecular level, botanical terpenes often lack the minor co occurring compounds naturally found in cannabis.

The Strawberry Sour Diesel Mini Jeeter is a half gram infused pre roll packed with flower, THCa diamonds, rosin, kief, and added terpenes. That is a lot crammed into one tiny joint. This particular pre roll tested at 50% THC, which will definitely appeal to shoppers chasing high THC numbers. But the real question is whether the experience holds up once you are halfway through the joint.
During the event, I smoked three different Mini Jeeters, including this Strawberry Sour Diesel. Every single one tasted great for the first few puffs. Heavy strawberry candy flavor came through with almost no actual cannabis taste behind it. But after those first hits, the smoke quickly became harsh and the pulls started feeling tougher as the joint burned down.
I sparked this one up and immediately got hit with a sweet strawberry flavor that honestly tasted pretty good at first. But the farther into the pre roll I got, the harsher it became. If you are looking for something that punches your throat harder than your lungs while maybe getting you high in the process, these might be for you.
At the end of the day, I understand why products like this have a market. At the same time, it makes me ask why consumers accept products today that many people would have laughed at from legacy market dealers before legalization. These are essentially legal “spray pack” style products. Flower enhanced with added flavoring to smell and taste more appealing, then sold at a premium price.

If you want something loaded with artificial flavor, Jeeter is definitely an option. But if you are already spending around $45 on infused pre rolls, I would personally rather grab a five pack of IC Collective Quickies or some hash holes from Redemption Botanicals for similar money and, in my opinion, better overall quality. There is nothing wrong with being a Walmart smoker, but sometimes it is worth exploring beyond the biggest name on the shelf.
