Alright Couch Lock’d fam, let’s talk about some flower that recently impressed us. Today we’re diving into Flora Arbor’s Affie OG, a strain I picked up that promised some seriously chill vibes. This one’s got quite the lineage, mixing ((SFV OG x Chem D) x ‘78 Affie) with Sour Best Shit Ever. The word on the street is that it brings a lucid calm, good focus, and solid relaxation, which sounded exactly like what I was looking for. You also get sweet, citrus, and doughy notes from this one, which is always a tasty combo in my book. The main terpenes showing up are alpha-Pinene, beta-Caryophyllene, and beta-Myrcene, which makes sense for those balancing effects they’re going for. Flora Arbor definitely talks a good game about quality and craft, so I was curious to see if this Affie OG lived up to it.

Looking at the label, this batch had a Harvest Date of 09/11/2024 and was packaged on 10/23/2024. The numbers were lookin’ strong too, with a Total THC of 29.4% and 1.99% total terpenes. When I got it home, I tossed it in my 2.5” Next Gen Aluminum Flower Mill. That thing works wonders, turning the flower into a perfect fluffy consistency that really lets the aroma shine. And man, did the nose on this Affie OG pop once it was milled! You really got those sweet, citrus, and slightly doughy smells hitting you right away.
To truly appreciate it, I rolled some up in some OCB papers. The weather was cooperating beautifully here in April, hitting a perfect 70 degrees, so I took it out to the balcony to enjoy. The smoke was smooth and clean, and the flavor perfectly matched that sweet and citrusy aroma with that nice doughy finish, super pleasant the whole way through. The effects settled in smoothly, starting with that promised lucid calm and focus, letting me relax without feeling spaced out. It’s definitely a great strain for unwinding while still being able to think straight.

Overall, I was seriously impressed with this Affie OG from Flora Arbor. It delivered exactly the kind of relaxed yet clear-headed experience I was hoping for, and the quality from cultivation to cure was evident. I would absolutely pick this strain up again and continue to be stoked by what the Flora Arbor team is producing.
