Now, it isn’t too often that I pick up an Illinois product and go, “Holy shit. I have to write a review about this before I finish it.” And that is exactly why I’m here writing this review today.
For my fans of Tangie strains that have a flavor and aroma that linger around, you must try Strawberry Bubbles concentrate from Superflux. This one immediately reminded me of Grassroots Lemon Royale back in 2020, with that Mimosa cross coming through extremely heavy.
I recently grabbed the four-gram bucket on Wax Wednesday from Windy City in Homewood, which I believe came out to around $73 after tax with my medical discount. Now, this is a strain I haven’t had before, but I am very familiar with Strawberry Bubbles, and it is probably my favorite Superflux strain because of how strongly that Mimosa cross comes through. For those who don’t know, this is a cross of Mimosa x Strawberry Guava, giving you a nice, balanced sativa hybrid.
Superflux has really blown me away compared to the stuff I was getting from them back in 2020, when I probably wouldn’t have recommended them. Nowadays, they have become my go-to when it comes to concentrates in the Illinois market. They consistently put up very high terpene percentages while delivering great effects.
I’m not joking when I say I would honestly put Superflux up against brands like Redemption Botanicals and IC Collective. I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out on top, even going head-to-head with live resin versus live rosin and clean melts.
This batch came in at 90.98% THC with 8% terpenes, produced on July 21, 2026, and packaged on July 29, 2026. That makes this a nice, fresh batch, which I believed the second I cracked open the jar. The nose was incredibly strong, and the concentrate has a beautiful golden color as well.
I’ve been hitting this on my rig at around 450°, getting four or five nice, big clouds that are still packed with flavor and amazing effects. For someone like myself who dabs regularly, I don’t need a very big scoop of this stuff to get the clouds and effects I’m looking for, which really helps stretch out these four-gram buckets.
Strawberry Bubbles has always been a nice, socially uplifting high for me. It’s more giggly and social, making it something I could easily be dabbing on while playing some games. If I had my Puffco with me while I was out and about, this would be perfect for that as well.
Overall, shout out to Superflux. They have really been killing it lately. I always love seeing brands pull a full 180 and start putting out some fire, because that is exactly what I want to see on the market.
We all deserve good-quality products, and I hope every company is truly striving to put out the best products possible for consumers. That’s what we were promised when the legal market was created, and we shouldn’t have to settle for companies cutting shortcuts or putting out mediocre products.
Strawberry Bubbles is definitely one I’ll be picking up again.
