Last week I found myself in need to make an Illinois dispensary stop for a vape, something I really try to grab during my Michigan trips, and ended up grabbing a Zoap Live Resin Disposable by Roam, a brand under Cannect Wellness. The first thing I noticed was the hardware itself, this thing is tiny. Legitimately smaller than a lighter and probably one of the most discreet disposables I’ve picked up. A nice sleek design, fits perfectly into the coin/watch pocket of jeans, and honestly nice to see something small compared to the oversized disposables that are everywhere that add even more waste to a disposable product.
This is a 100% pure live resin disposable and the flavor absolutely reflects that. The Z terps were on point with that sweet candy and tangy taste along with some sour fruity notes on the backend. The flavor stayed consistent from start to finish with this vape, which isn’t always the case with disposables and even carts. Every rip tasted amazing without getting burnt or subdued flavor halfway through
The clouds this gave off were interesting in a good way. The inhale felt almost lighter than expected, making it seem I wasn’t quite getting a full rip but once I exhaled, the clouds were huge and definitely felt the kick. Definitely one of those vapes where it sneaks up on you a little and I suggest starting with smaller rips that you normally would.
Effects wise, this one hit me with really balanced effects. It started off with an uplifting head buzz that put me in a better mood almost instantly and had me feeling relaxed without getting a foggy mental haze. After a few more pulls the body relaxation started settling in heavily. This was perfect for unwinding without feeling couch locked and was a definite stress reliever. I personally used it before a social function for work that I was kind of stressing about and it really helped me settle in to have a good time and enjoy myself.
The only downside for me is honestly just the Illinois pricing. I paid around $70 OTD at a rec shop which is brutal coming from someone who gets 95% of their products in Michigan where similar quality live resin disposables are usually closer to the $20-$30 range. Illinois taxes are just hard to ignore. But putting the price aside strictly based on quality, flavor, hardware, and effects, this was genuinely one of the better disposables I’ve had from the Illinois market and definitely exceeded my expectations.
