Recently I received a sample of the Rainbows and Cherries infused pre roll from High Supply by Cresco Labs. This is a brand I do not typically go out of my way to purchase but I am always willing to try when it is free. Rainbows and Cherries is a sativa leaning hybrid cross of Cherry Thai and Rainbow SS OG, delivering a unique terpene profile featuring sweet pine layered with cherry notes and light gassy undertones.
Unlike many infused pre rolls currently on the market that rely on distillate and added flavoring, High Supply infuses these pre rolls with their THC Sand. This infusion method allows the joint to burn slow and evenly, similar to the experience of smoking a bubble hash joint. Another standout feature is the barrel style roll rather than the traditional cone. Personally I prefer barrel rolled joints because they tend to burn more efficiently, are easier to light, and are more discreet in public since they resemble a cigarette more than a joint.
Throughout the entire session the burn remained consistent and even. The flavor was smooth and enjoyable without the harshness that many infused pre rolls are known for. It did not cause excessive coughing and remained comfortable to smoke from start to finish. As the effects began to settle in, the sativa leaning nature of the strain became noticeable, bringing uplifting, giggly, and creative effects. This makes Rainbows and Cherries a solid option for social situations such as going out to a comedy show, spending time with friends, or relaxing at home while playing games.
Overall I was satisfied with this product, especially as a sample, and I would consider purchasing it again if it was available at the right sale price. I would still place it in my tier three category when evaluating quality and price. For the amount you are paying and the experience you receive, this feels like a fair placement.
