New Flora Craft Strain Review: SKOR

Today I’m cracking into a new strain hitting the Illinois market from one of my favorite craft growers, Flora Craft, who recently released SKOR to the market. This is another indica-dominant cross of Meatbreath x PCS1, giving it a strong and unique terpene profile. They sent me this over to Stash Dispensaries in Orland Hills which always has the latest craft grow drops in the state.

The Details

  • Harvest Date: 05/27/2025
  • Package Date: 08/07/2025
  • Tested Date: 07/07/2025
  • THCA: 26.74%
  • Total Cannabinoids: 27.16%
  • Total Terpenes: 1.56%

What’s in the Jar

As soon as I cracked open the jar, I was greeted by four beautiful nugs coated in trichomes, showing off deep purple hues beneath a thick frosty layer. Bright neon hairs wrapped around the buds, giving them a striking contrast. The structure was tight yet slightly spongy, and after running it through my Flower Mill, it broke down into a sticky, fluffy consistency. The aroma carried a tart chocolate scent with toffee undertones, rich and inviting.

The Roll-Up

As always, I reached for my OCB papers, this time using the bamboo ones, and Flower Mill to roll up a clean joint. On the initial dry pull before sparking, that toffee flavor came through just like the aroma, and it carried over beautifully once lit. The smoke was smooth and flavorful, burning evenly down to the filter without harshness. The ash was a nice light gray, not the whitest I’ve seen, but far from dark or dirty, for those who pay attention to ash color.

The Effects

If you’re looking for a strain that helps you relax and unwind after a long day, this one hits the mark. About halfway through the joint, I felt my shoulders drop, my back loosen, and my eyes start to get heavy. It’s not a foggy or overpowering head high, more of a steady, relaxing body vibe that eases tension and minor aches. It didn’t completely knock me out, but it definitely set me on the path toward deep relaxation.
