In this review, I’m cracking into a new brand here in Illinois: Beezle, who has partnered with Redemption Botanicals to bring their products to the state. The strain I picked up, Madd Fruit, came from Stash Dispensaries in Orland Hills, and right from the start, it impressed me enough to want more.
Strain Info
The jar I picked up was a 2g jar of Madd Fruit, an Indica strain created by crossing PapayaBerry Runtz x Moroccan Peaches. If you’ve been following me over these past five years, you already know how much I love papaya crosses, so when I found out this had papaya in the lineage, I had to grab it.

On the back label, the numbers stood out right away:
- 77.50% THC
- 5.84% total terpenes (nearly 6%!)
The top terpenes are Beta-Myrcene, Limonene, and Alpha-Humulene, giving this strain a sweet, fruity, and slightly funky profile that translated beautifully in both aroma and flavor.
Appearance & Consistency

As soon as I cracked the jar open, the appearance and nose hit immediately. The concentrate had a beautiful yellow-golden color, with a wet batter consistency and a nice greasy top layer that made it easy to scoop.
The nose was complex and layered:
- Sweet papaya upfront
- Peach-skin undertones
- A funky, slightly rotten back-end note that tied everything together
If you’re into strains that mix sweet fruit with a touch of funk, this one should be on your list.
The Dab
I ran my dab at 490°F using my Marcus P Glass mini recycler with a traditional quartz banger. The hit was clean, leaving only a light residue in the banger with no burnt leftovers. The flavor was bright and enjoyable, smooth on the inhale, and tasty enough to keep me reaching for another scoop.
Effects
For an Indica, Madd Fruit surprised me. Instead of a heavy, sedative couch-lock, I felt:
- Uplifted and happy
- Focused mentally
- Relaxed physically
It was the perfect balance for chilling out, watching a movie, or having a giggly, good-vibes session without being knocked out.

Final Score
For me, Madd Fruit hit perfectly across the board:
- Flavor: 10
- Effects: 10
- Quality: 10
That gives it a perfect score of 30/30. This is absolutely a strain I’ll be grabbing again for my head stash. Once again, Redemption Botanicals has delivered quality, and I’m excited to see them continue bringing more brands like Beezle into Illinois with this same high standard.
