The strain I picked up from Stash in Orland Hills was Chem De Menthe, a play on the classic beverage Crème de Menthe. This hybrid has become known for its distinct mint-forward profile, with its most common version bred by Moonman Genetics from Key Lime Mints x Chem De La Chem.
This Chem de Menthe comes through with a musky aroma balanced by sharp notes of menthol, spice, and citrus. The flavor mirrors that complexity, offering a creamy, cooling inhale that leads into a clean, minty exhale. Much like the drink it’s named after, the effects hit your head almost instantly, leaving you in a hazy, euphoric state that can easily shift into the kind of high where you just melt into the vibe.
If you’re looking for something to help you wind down after a long day or fully lean into a day off, this joint delivers. The high is cerebral and heavy, with that signature “face melt” quality that infused smokers look for.
