Today I’m diving into some Jenny Kush Live Resin Sauce by Redemption Botanicals. It’s one of the new strains they’ve dropped, and while Jenny Kush isn’t new to Illinois, I was very excited to see one of my favorite strains coming from one of my favorite craft cultivators.
I picked this up at Stash in Orland Hills, which always has solid sales on all the craft brands in the state. Taking a look at the details, this batch was made on June 4, 2025, and packaged on June 12, 2025. It’s coming in at 78.18% total THC and 3.51% terpenes.
For those who don’t know, Jenny Kush is named for the cannabis activist Jenny Monson. It’s known as a great balanced hybrid, giving you that uplifting mental buzz with just enough relaxation to keep you chill. You can pretty much enjoy it all day. It usually has a sharp, fruity, and herbal smell.
Redemption Botanicals has really nailed their process for quality BHO. They don’t need any CRC tricks to make their stuff look pretty, it just is. As soon as I opened the jar, I saw a beautiful, light golden, wet sugar consistency looking back at me. It was easy to scoop up with my dab tool, with that perfect sticky consistency.
The smell on this batch was more on the herbal and gassy side, with a little bit of fruitiness in the background. That taste came through when I took a dab at 520 degrees on my Dab Rite. It was a nice clean melt with a smooth inhale that didn’t leave me coughing. It gave me a very enjoyable, relaxing high while I sat back and played some Tony Hawk on the Xbox.
Overall, I would definitely grab this again. I haven’t been disappointed by anything from Redemption Botanicals so far and I’m looking forward to trying more of their products.
