What’s up, everybody? Patrick here from Midwest Dazed with a review of Strawberry Adhesive from our friend and Baked Bingo sponsor, True Hydro. Hydroponic grows are becoming less common these days, especially when it comes to high-quality final products, but True Hydro proves exactly how it should be done.
This batch of Strawberry Adhesive comes from their latest harvest. For those unfamiliar with the strain, it’s a cross between Strawberry Pie and GG#4, resulting in a unique terpene profile that hits you the moment you crack open the jar. As soon as the lid comes off, you’re greeted with a sweet and creamy strawberry aroma, almost like a strawberry smoothie, layered with tart raspberry notes and that pungent, chemical glue scent inherited from GG#4.
Appearance & Structure
The buds have beautiful structure, as you’ll see in the photos. They’re densely packed, covered in sparkling trichomes, and bursting with vibrant orange hairs. This isn’t some mass-produced, machine-trimmed flower, it’s hand-trimmed and meticulously cared for, which really shows in the final product.
Breakdown & Grind
Trying to break this nug down by hand would be a mistake, it’s incredibly sticky, and you’d lose way too many trichomes. Instead, I used my Flower Mill, and the second I ground it up, I unlocked an even stronger gassy aroma, while that initial sweet, creamy strawberry scent took more of a backseat.
Smoke & Effects
After rolling up and lighting a joint, Strawberry Adhesive hit me with some serious munchies and a deep sense of relaxation, perfect for gaming or movie nights at home. Personally, I wouldn’t smoke this in a social setting. It’s heavy-hitting, and I just don’t see myself staying functional if I rolled up a fat joint of this while out and about. But if you’re looking for a body-melting, couch-locking strain, this one delivers.
