Crunch Berries Live Resin Badder Review

Recently, I was gifted a gram of Crunch Berries Badder by Dr. Greenthumb, produced by Redemption Botanicals here in the Illinois cannabis market, so I figured I’d crack into this jar and share my thoughts with you all. Crunch Berries is an indica-dominant hybrid cross of Triple OG x Blueberry, a lineage that usually points toward heavier, relaxing effects.

Appearance & Packaging

Right off the bat, I’ve got to say I love the white jars. From my experience, a lot of BHO concentrates packaged in black jars tend to look darker than they actually are, and when a concentrate is dark, it can end up looking pretty nasty. With this one, you can clearly see what you’re working with.

Crunch Berries
Badder Close-Up

This batch has a vibrant golden badder consistency that looks wet and fresh, not dried out the second you open the jar. Visually, it checks a lot of boxes.

Batch Info & Terpenes

This batch was manufactured on October 2, 2025 and packaged on November 12, 2025, coming in at 71.11% THC. One thing I really appreciate is that they list the top terpenes, which for this batch are:

  • β-Myrcene
  • Limonene
  • Linalool

Cracking the jar gives off a floral, sweet berry aroma, which lines up nicely with the terpene profile and the Blueberry genetics.

Melt & Flavor

Now comes the melt, and this is where things fell short for me.

I personally dabbed this badder anywhere from 520° down to 475°, and no matter how low I went, I still ended up with a dark melt. Because of that, the flavor never really transferred over while dabbing. That led to rougher hits overall, more coughing, and my banger being left dark and crusty after each session.

For concentrate consumers who really care about clean melt and flavor translation, this batch may be disappointing.

Effects

That being said, just because the flavor wasn’t there and the hits were a bit harsh doesn’t mean the effects weren’t.

This is still a heavy-hitting indica in my eyes. Within about five minutes of taking a glob, you can feel your eyelids getting heavier, with a noticeable mental fog setting in shortly after. It definitely leans toward relaxation and sedation.

If you’re looking for something to throw into a donut, or you’re someone who doesn’t really care about flavor or melt quality as long as the effects hit, this one still delivers where it counts.

Overall, I personally would not grab this same batch again, and I’d definitely be checking production dates if I were to try Crunch Berries again in the future. That said, I wouldn’t write off other products from the Dr. Greenthumb line, especially since they’re produced by Redemption Botanicals, who are a solid craft grower here in Illinois.

Not every batch can be a home run.
