Timber Cannabis Co. in New Buffalo has become one of my must stop dispos whenever I’m in the area and on my last stop, I picked up a Golden Cherry Live Rosin AIO vape by Strait Fire, made in collaboration with Adams Family Farms. Strait Fire has built a solid reputation as one of the better quality budget rosin brands in Michigan, so I went into this one with fairly high expectations. I was able to snag this at 40% off, bringing it down to just $18 pre tax, which honestly felt like a steal for a 1 gram live rosin disposable.
The first thing that really stood out to me was the vape tech itself. This AIO produced big, consistent clouds throughout the entire time I used it, something I don’t always expect from rosin disposables. It also has an on/off switch that activates a preheat function, which I’m always a fan of, especially with rosin. I’ve only had this specific hardware once before on a freebie distillate vape from Batch, and I had a very similar experience there in terms of big clouds, so it was nice to see it translate just as well with live rosin.
Right off the first rip, I got a sweet and semi fruity taste up front with some cherry tartness on the backend. On the exhale, there was a subtle earthy note and an almost pastry like finish that lingered nicely. The flavor stayed consistent throughout the life of the vape, which is always a huge plus, especially with higher heat and bigger cloud production.
Effects wise, this one definitely hit. After just a couple rips, the potency was very noticeable, which says a lot considering my higher tolerance. I’m someone who tries to keep a vape on me at all times and probably hit it 10-20 times throughout the day, so for a rosin AIO to still hits nicely all the way through like this was impressive. It gave off a strong but fairly balanced high that was potent while still being able to keep my focus, making it an easy go to vape throughout the day.
Overall, Golden Cherry Live Rosin AIO by Strait Fire didn’t just meet my expectations, it exceeded them. For the price I paid, it honestly held its own against a lot of the more “premium” rosin vape brands I’ve tried over the years. Between the solid hardware, great flavor, and potent effects, this was an absolute steal and a reminder of why Strait Fire continues to be one of my favorite budget friendly rosin options in Michigan. If you come across this one, especially on sale, it’s a no brainer pick up.
