After exploring a lot of different strain option that Wojo has put out over the year, I realized I hadn’t tried one of there seemingly staple strains, Wojo Runtz. A cross between Wojo Mints (Mother) and Runtz (Father), they teamed up with Exotic Genetix to create this unique take on a classic strain.
I grabbed this over at New Standard Dispensary in Saugatuck, Michigan insuring on of my visits towards the end of October. It did have a production date from May, which I wouldn’t call old but definitely not a “fresh” batch as well, but when I opened the jar, it looked just as moist and shiny as a lot of rosin I’ve had produced within the same month I purchased them.
As far as the aroma and flavor, they labeled this in the “Gassy” collection, which I would say was right on point with a pedal to the floor gassy smell that carried over perfectly to the taste along with some subtle hints of mintiness that created a delicious flavor profile that I can see even those that aren’t too into gassy or funky terps enjoying have a jar of this in their rotation.
Effects wise, this was a heavy hitter. It gave off a great relaxing and physically soothing body buzz paired with a giggly and stress relieving mental high that was the perfect way to chill after a long day or help send you off to bed when you’re struggling to sleep. I really enjoyed using this as a wake and bake on a lazy weekend day of video games and hanging out with friends and to stay in a good headspace, and enjoy the day with minimal stress.
Overall, I’m impressed yet again from Wojo and kicking myself in the head from not seeking out this strain earlier. For those that enjoy some gassy and fuel terps, and even some that might not, this is a great jar to add to your rotation.
