I picked up a couple jars of Five Star extracts and this 3.5g jar of Lemon Guap Nug Run Sugar Sauce from New Standard in Saugatuck, Michigan instantly stood out to me. Cracking the jar hit me with a sharp, zesty lemon pledge aroma that carried straight into the flavor, really having the lemon take off, creating one tasty and mouth watering dab. The texture was beautiful, with thick chunks of diamonds swimming in a saucy terp pool that screamed quality from the start.
The color leaned a darker gold, proof that no CRC is being used, there’s a couple companies out there that claim no CRC but I’m a little skeptical. This was a perfect wake and bake dab, with a super potent, uplifting, and energetic buzz that had me super amped and ready to go but did make my mind a little racey and not the easiest to keep focused. Everything about this jar hit right the flavor, smell, potency, and overall value all lined up perfectly.
Between this and a few other jars I grabbed from Five Star and True North, this Lemon Guap was the standout. For the price and quality, it’s an easy one to recommend and a reminder why Five Star keeps living up to the name.
