With new craft brands making their way into the Illinois market, there’s only a handful that really stand out to me. Cannect Wellness is one that absolutely makes that list. I got my hands on their Superboof, and it reconfirmed to me that they put care into putting out a premium product.
Right out the jar, that sweet orange juice aroma hit me with a bright and citrusy aroma, with just a hint of creaminess behind it, making it very reminiscent to a fresh glass of orange juice. It has the kind of nose that makes you pause for a second and take another whiff.
Visually, this flower is beautiful. Big chunky and dense nugs with light and dark greens layered throughout as well as covered in orange hairs and just enough purple popping out to notice. Overall very sticky, dense, and frosty.
Beautiful smoke that was smooth and flavorful. That citrus carries right through on the inhale, and the effects settle in fast. I got a nice uplifting head high that was perfect for some mood elevation and stress relief, with a giggly yet mentally focusing buzz. Once I let the buzz settle in a bit, that body high creeped in heavily. Not couch-locking, but definitely relaxed. Ideal for an evening unwind or a lazy weekend sesh.
Cannect Wellness came through with this one. If you’re into Superboof, or just looking to try something fresh from the Illinois craft scene, this batch is worth checking out.
