Review: Cherry Limeade Rosin Belts by Kanha

This past week, I attended the Flower Expo in Chicago, and Kanha was in the house. I swung by their table to check out what they had to offer. While chatting with their team, I noticed their new rosin belts had entered the Illinois market. I mentioned that I hadn’t tried them yet and was genuinely excited to see these available locally.

Shout out to their rep, Tammee, for hooking me up with a pack of Cherry Limeade Rosin Belts, along with the Strawberry Lemonade Rosin Belts, I’ll be dropping a review on those soon too! For those unfamiliar, the sour belts come in a pack of four strips. Each strip contains five segments at 5 mg each, making for a total of 25 mg per belt. They’re perfect for those looking to microdose or for a gentle, manageable edible experience.

When it comes to breaking these apart, I found them to be among the easiest edibles to portion on the Illinois market. While many gummies claim to have perforations for easy splitting, they often don’t work well in practice. However, the sour belts separated effortlessly. That said, for my own experience, I decided to test one by breaking it into pieces, but I happily ate another belt whole, enjoying the full 25 mg dose.

I’ve always been a fan of Kanha’s edibles, not just their sour belts but their gummies in general. The brand consistently nails the perfect bounce and chewy consistency. As for the flavor, the Cherry Limeade Rosin Belt immediately reminded me of the cherry two-ball screwball ice cream I used to get from the ice cream truck on hot summer days. It had a deliciously sweet and tangy flavor, with a subtle sorbet undertone.

These Cherry Limeade Belts are sativa-leaning, but I didn’t experience any anxiety or jitters. Instead, they provided a nice, uplifting high that was perfect for staying active and social. I can definitely see these being ideal for getting things done around the house or enjoying a day out. They delivered a functional, productive high without feeling overwhelming.

Overall, I’m seriously impressed with this product and the Kanha brand. While I don’t usually shop for edibles, this is something I’d keep my eye on, especially if I catch it on sale. For anyone regularly browsing Illinois dispensaries for gummies, I highly recommend giving Kanha a try.
