Rosslyn is a Michigan brand that’s gone through a partnership change over the past year and has noticeably stepped up their quality since. Having their Super Boof Live Rosin about 6 months ago proved to me that their quality did improve and led me to try out this jar of GMO Sherb, a cross between GMO Cookies and Sunset Sherb, that I grabbed from Super Good in New Buffalo using my first time visit discount of 50% off.
Cracking the jar, the aroma popped immediately with a funky and fruity smell that was definitely a bit more pungent than expected. Flavor wise, that funky fruitiness carried over very nicely into the taste, with a smooth and creamy backend. Even though this batch was packaged about seven months ago, its freshness held up surprisingly well which I give credit to Super Good for having it properly stored in a freezer and Rosslyn for opting for pop vac style jar. The consistency was slightly on the drier side, but nothing too bad and still had a little bit of a shine to it and dabbed very smooth.
Effects were where this one really stood out to me. The high came on strong and almost immediately, with potent and fairly balanced effects with an energetic and focusing mental high along with a soothing and tension relieving body buzz that made this a good dab for morning and daytime. I really enjoyed this as my first dab after getting home from work for a nice pick me up.
Overall, this GMO Sherb Live Rosin by Rosslyn was a great pick up, even if it was slightly on the older side. The flavors and effects were both strong and potent and if the price is right on this batch for you, I highly suggest giving it a shot.
